Where did the time go? I was reminded of this post the other day cuz I was wearing my pink Tory Burch Eddie flats.

Re: The history of the bathing suit

Nah, the 80s are the best.

Re: What is LulaRoe?

The care instructions specifically say to hang to dry, not to dry in the dryer, even on low temp...... them pilling is one of the reasons (maybe the only reason?) that you hang to dry.

Re: What is LulaRoe?

I went to one pop up boutique LuLaRoe party. I could not believe there were dresses cheaper than thin plain scoop neck tunics. Not only were most of the fabrics horrid, but every dress, tunic and tee had the same scoop neckline. Snore! All the fabrics I liked... not my size. The dresses I saw were finished like the ones you buy in the Juarez market. The skirts cling to your thighs like a three year old. I promised my granddaughter I would get her something, so I forked over $25 for leggings for a ten year old. After the first wash, cold water, delicate, low temp dry, they are pilling on the butt and already show discoloration. I will never, ever buy another product from that company again. I have three year old yoga pants that look better than those leggings. Overpriced , tiny selection, no style, crappy fabric.

Re: What is LulaRoe?

Horrible quality! I bought 1 shirt, wore it once and it's full of holes. There's no returns/refunds. Extreme lack of costumer service for cheap clothing. I paid $30+ for a shirt I got to wear once and was told tough luck. I will NEVER buy again. Lesson learned.

Re: What is LulaRoe?

I bought 6 items through Lularoe and all are bad quality. At first i thought i got unlucky but after my 6th purchase realized these clothes are horrible and consultants not all will lie to get these sold. My first 2 pairs of leggings did not fit and apparently this is a widely known defect that legginga made in vietnam do not fit properly yet cosultants still sell them as normal and only then you have found out can only get credit in their shop and have to pay to return these. Another pair of leggings i bought the seam was not sewn. Manufacturer defect. I was told to try to sew it myself. Seriously? That consultant kindly gave me a refund however. Next...my 2 legging that actually fit and sewn properly started piling on first wear...seriously? I also bought an amelia that had a major crease in the fabric. When i asked the consultant about it she assured me it was just from being boxed up. However after washing and ironing i cannot get out that crease. I want to support other women esp sahms...i am one too...but I feel like I am getting swindled here. Do not buy lularoe. Bad bad quality. Its so cute however thats why i kept making numerous mistakes. Now I am done. Hope you all learn it sooner than later.

Re: What is LulaRoe?

Definitely shop in person . I have had a lot of issues with the fabrics. They are not all the same thickness. Some are very very thin. Also some of the construction is questionable. I had a dress come and the stitching was all unraveling. Returns are a nightmare.

Re: Jessica Biel’s smoky eye look in Glamour

Thank you!

Re: Jessica Biel’s smoky eye look in Glamour

your eye color is gorgeous

Re: Links À La Mode, The IFB Weekly Roundup: January 7

Congratulations on the feature beautiful!

xx

Re: A closet full of clothes and nothing to wear

Thank you! I purge my closet at least once a year--I swap or sell what I don't wear. I'm all about quality over quantity and not impulse shopping but, I for sure need to get better at shopping small and shopping local, especially since Atlanta has some great designers.

Re: Taking on the Conscious Closet Challenge

I'll have to check out the Sustainable Fashion Challenge! I have bought and returned the Cuyana and the Everyone. I ended up buying a Fossil Sydney. Its the pefect mix, structured slouch shall we say. And its LINED with pockets and protective feet on the bottom. Straps stay nicely on your shoulder, it holds laptop and extra shoes but is also sleek on the weekends so you dont take anyone out in Trader Joes. Also has a small pocket on the front for lipgloss and phone. I know it is a mass produced item but I have expensive special Italian bags and this is just as nice, truly, and looks as good 2 years later. Happy Shopping

http://www.fossil.com/webap...

Re: Structured vs. unstructured: The great work bag debate

That's really good feedback, thanks!
